History of the Church

Tamborine Mountain’s most prestigious wedding venue, Heritage Wines has everything you need to create a special and memorable wedding day event. Formerly the Infant Saviour Catholic Church once located in Burleigh Heads, the church was saved from demolition and carefully moved to the rainforest surrounds of Tamborine Mountain, where it was lovingly restored to create a wedding venue of unsurpassed old-world elegance. Perched high on a hillside of magical Tamborine Mountain, your wedding guests will enjoy sweeping views over Queensland’s Gold Coast hinterland and out to the Pacific Ocean.

Among its classic features is the stunning cedar staircase for the bride and groom’s entry and in the winter months the magnificent stone open fireplace is lit generating a romantic warm and cosy atmosphere, when the cold night mists are swirling.
