Centrally located near the distillery, wineries, markets and National Parks, Camelot is found at the very top of Tamborine Mountain, almost opposite the Hang Glider lookout, in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland. With certified ratings from AADRS at 4.5 diamonds and AAAT at 4.5 stars (cottage product) our luxury retreat offers the finest double certified accommodation and hospitality on the Mountain. We are also number one on Trip Advisor.

We have listings on this website both for our Queen bedded room product and separately for our luxury spa cottages.

As one of our two products, Camelot offers top quality ‘room only’ accommodation in our separate guest wing that runs out to the side of our single storey farmhouse. Unlike a B&B, you are not staying in our house and you have your own key and entrance to your ‘Mountain Escape’ room. In our guest wing we have three beautiful queen bedded rooms, each with their own en-suite for your comfort, with each one opening out onto a large Queenslander deck. Each room has reverse cycle inverter air-conditioning, luxurious gum wooden floors, LCD TV’s and comfortable chairs, coffee table, bar fridge and tea/coffee facilities. The queen beds have firm mattresses with soft toppers and are adorned with our own contemporary white linen and comforters.

We enjoyed a 4.5 star rating with AAAT as a B&B until a few years ago with these ‘rooms’ facilities but we decided to stop serving our huge breakfasts as our guests saw no reason to rise early for breakfast when the mountains attractions do not open until 10am. So everyone at Camelot now tends to sleep in and breakfast out as part of their overall mountain experience. You are also welcome to bring your own cereals or snacks, however cooking in the rooms are not allowed due to fire regulations. Recently we have introduced a ‘light breakfast’ option of juice and cereal that we put in your bar fridge at a small additional cost.
